Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by an ethnically mixed family. She's English but her father was Nigerian. She was raised on the southern part of London Council Estate. She went to The Brit School aged 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained an acting BA. In her time at the school, she performed in numerous stage plays, like King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premier episode of the season's new episode. From 2014 until 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, is a member of a large Hamilton family. The four brothers she had were also in the family and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she would dance. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. The top soloist at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
